Kilt jackets?
I found 4 beautiful jackets at the big Goodwill store in Albany NY yesterday, 3 of them looking clearly like Harris tweed (whether or not they are), and one beautiful light colored Cashmere jacket. The Cashmere and 2 of the others fit me perfectly, while one is a bit small and will make an excellent kilt jacket for one of my boys.
I'm looking at retiring soon, and only bought this Cashmere jacket because I got such a deal on it, i.e., I really don't need another sport jacket. Would it be reasonable to turn this Cashmere sport coat into a kilt jacket, or would that be a bit much? I'd be interested in what the rabble think. Thanks!
