    Only away for two days!

    So much happens here!

I had a busy weekend, the long planned for dinner went off beautifully to celebrate Tartan Day, my wife's veggie haggis was loved even by the haggis experts, quite a few turned up in kilts, even some I'd never seen in a kilt before.

Then today I decided to try out poly viscose in freezing conditions up in the Tassie Highlands with a hike with my son, Daniel. He wore a Bear 4 yard I wore a USAK 8 yard PV.

In brief, not as warm as thick wool by far, but when the rain soaked the front of the kilt, it soon dried out. So I was pleased overall.

I will post some new piccies.

Back to the board, great to see new names popping up, even another lassie!! Welcome Heather!
Sad tho' to see rudeness here and sadder still to see Robbie offended.
Come on Robbie, you're a Scot! you can take it, I've had some rudeness here too and I'm only a sassenach and still here.

    I hope you will stay.

Now, if I don't catch up, some of you lot will think you can overtake me!! haha!

Glad your celebration went well. You certainly are
    advancing the kilted cause.

I love the photo of your hiking with the snow on
the mountains. Don't worry Graham, no one is
delusional enough to think they can you.

    Graham,

You amaze me with your enthusiastic attitude towards kilting!

Glad that your weekend went well, and I am sure that we will hear and see reports of the past few days. The hiking must have been a real treat with two kilted gents, I am sure that it must have been a wonderful sight!

    Keep on kilting!!!
