not from Kenya any more
When I opened my e-mail account this afternoon I had this message waiting to be read.
I have gotten this kind of message before but never from Scotland. Here is the message in full:
Good day,
I’m an Accounts Executive with one of Scotland's Leading Financial Service Providers.
By virtue of your same family name with our diseased customer, I am writing to seek your partnership and assistance in the transfer of an unclaimed deposit of our diseased customer.
Be most assured, that I have established all legal modalities for a secured way for a perfect transaction.
Please Kindly get back to me soonest, signifying your interest via a return email and I will be providing you with information on the amount, procedure and legality of this claim.
Kind Regards,
Terry Jenkins

A "red flag" jumps out for me with the statement "diseased customer". I could see a deceased relative being cause for claim but can't figure out what they want from you if someone else has a malady. Get a contract before giving up any vital organs or financial records.

LOL!!! I wonder, could this be Ebola related???
I am reminded of a letter one of my clients received many years ago from an attorney demanding that he "Cease and DECEASE".
I thought, that's a hell of a demand!!!

I can't stop laughing at this! My stomach is aching as if I did 150 sit-ups (Ok. More like 10). Stop and just die! Wow. That really shows how smart the scam artists are.

I suggest you send Terry all your money. What could go wrong?
I'm jealous, never having received such a generous offer. I probably will now, though
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
