    My Sons Birthday FOSSILS

I set this up in the cabinet for his birthday and added more fossils for him including the large Woolly mammoth bone & tusk fragment and a bunch of amonites and a meteorite that he has been asking for for ages. He arranged them him self and put his rocks at the bottom . I think he did a nice job . I just need to fit a light to the top to show them of better.

I've always been fascinated with fossils, most of mine have been given to my nephews years ago, I only have a big sack of shark teeth, one 7" megalodon tooth, and a few trilobites. I really wanted a mammoth tooth, but could never afford one.

I'm so jealous of his collection, brings me back to my boyhood.

Wow, that`s a nice collection. As a reformed collector of mineral specimens, I like the bottom shelf the best, but he`s got some very nice fossils. I hope his interest continues, who knows where it may lead.

My son really wanted a megalodon tooth as well but you just cant get them in the uk so I told him id get him the meteorite he all so asked about instead. He all so has a trilobite just the 1 you can see it on the 3ed shelf.

He reoly was over the moon when I showed him the cabinet as they were kept in a a couple of draws and you couldn't see them.

Very nice display cabinet and specimens. I really must find one of those myself. My wife gets annoyed whenever I bring up a skull or rock for display on the mantle.
