On the bucket list no longer!
Hello All!
I stated in another thread that my family have lived in the state of Texas for many generations going back to the years that Texas was a republic and perhaps earlier. Some time back I became aware that there was an official Texas State Tartan called the Texas Bluebonnet Tartan and I hoped to have a kilt made in the tartan to honor my family, my state, and my country. Being tartan it hearkens back to my Scots-Irish heritage, my people and their pioneer spirit.
A few days ago my wife asked me what I wanted for our anniversary and I told her that I wished I could have a kilt in the Bluebonnet Tartan that I've always wanted and she said lets order it. So now I am having the worst case of the jones that I've ever had and at the same time I'm humbled by this gracious gift my wife has presented me.
She has asked for a tam and scarf in the Ulster Modren and a brooch to wear with her kilted skirt in safforn that was a Christmas gift one year. FYI this marks our 41st on October 27th.
Thank-you for sharing in this moment with us.
Slainte'
Bill, Sibyl & of course as always Sir Brinkley the Exubrant!
May all your blessings be the ones you want and your friends many and true.
