Depending on your use and where you plan to wear it the Standard is the better of the two. The site pretty much tells the differences and for the money the Standard is a better kilt. It is made with more fabric, 7-8 yards, which makes for more and deeper pleats. More pleats more swish. Some cosmetic additions to the Standard are a double offset fringe on the apron. Also a deep first pleat and reverse final pleat. You also get free flashes if that is a sell point to you. When I bought my Standard 3 years ago I also looked for differences and what you will get is better construction with more fabric making it look much better. If you are interested in wool there is the Black Watch wool Economy kilt for 90 bucks and it is a very nice kilt and wool to boot. You wont go wrong with the Standard.
