Photos of kilts in the MacDougall tartan

    Hello everyone,

If you have pictures of kilts in the MacDougall tartan (modern; ancient; weathered; or muted) I'd very much like to see them!

    Thanks a lot.

Here's one of my uncle Gene and myself in MacDougall tartan. He's wearing the modern colors and I'm wearing the ancient. You might also check out the Heritage MacDougall (http://www.dunollie.org/files/5713/5...t_Dunollie.pdf) courtesy our own Peter MacDonald.

Thanks a lot Shaun! Both kilts are beautiful.

I really like the "cherry red" of the MacDougall modern... A photo gives a much better idea than a swatch or a computer image of the tartan.

I guess with this particular pattern, pleating should be to the sett... or is there a particular stripe that gives a nice effect?

    Thanks again!

I also like pleated to the sett Shaun. Nice choice of Argyle hose with your kilt also.
