Wee feathered visitors

We were fortunate recently to have a wee feathered family:



And now that they've all grown up and flown away, another Mommy is sitting in nest no. 2



We're proud and happy to be hosts to such welcome little robin friends.

You have Robins, I have Wrens. This is my third family of visitors. Here is the last feeding before the first flight from the nest.

I love to promote the birds and they seem to know.

A few years ago I brought up a scarcely feathered swift chick until it was large enough to fledge.

I let it go on a perfect summer day - it was really emotional to see it set off down the street ( we live in a cul de sac ) and then circle around over the houses before heading South.
