Not my work, but
Sgian dubh....meh. I've got one that I won as a prize at a Games and every now and then I'll tuck it in my sock. Dagger? What's the point? Seriously, as part of "clothing" they're both anachronistic, IMHO.
That's just my opinion, right? -Just my opinion-
But this is different, somehow. I might be asking this guy to make me a sgian dubh. I don't care what it costs.

That is a Viking Seax your are looking at. I realize that you are being tongue-in-cheek, but I'll mention anyway that it is not really appropriate for Highland Wear, historical or present day. A nice edged weapon nonetheless.

Gotcha! ..... I've inquired about a similarly designed sgian dubh.
Though I have to say, if I wanted to carry a blade whilst wearing a Freedom non-tartan kilt, or a Gryphon Kilt, or an X-Kilt, what law or directive says it would be "wrong" to wear that blade?
Is it not really right for Highland wear? Yeah...I'd agree with that, as gorgeous as it is.

That is a very nice seax, the etching on the blade is particularly well done. Looks like the work of a very talented smith. Can`t help but see an image in my head of Alan H. armed with seax and shield, challenging all comers. Run away! Run away!

Sweet barking cheese, that thing is beautiful. Viking head splitter trumps wee little pointy thing stuck in your sock. You'll be glad to have it when the zombies come a'knocking.

That's pretty darn sweet Alan ! I realize the pic is of a Viking Seax , however , I'd wear a sgian made in that particular style ... traditional or not . Very nice .
