Are there any like minded men in New England?
Hello to all,
I am very new at wearing a kilt, and I'm doinmg so because I firmly believe that men were not meant to wear trousers. It's a sociatal thing.History just proves to us that this is so. I was wondering if there were any kilt wearing groups on the east coast? I know that there are Highlands games in New england, but I've never attended. I live in boston, and would like to correspond with others in this area. Thanks

kilted groups
Hey this is dave. You have come to the right place to discuss Kilts. What kilt are you currently wearing? I think going to Celtic or Scottish events are a fun way to enjoy wearing your kilt and to be around like minded individuals and to get your feet wet.I think some people come to wearing the kilt through the back door as it were. I really enjoyed Celtic music so I started playing the bagpipes and then dicovering my family's Celtic roots, which has led me to my first purchase of a proper kilt(no offense meant to the other types of kilts, I love them too)and I found how much I liked wearing them.Have you ventured out yet? You will hopefully be pleasantly surprised to find how many nice outings you have and how they outweigh the few negative ones. Well werar it with pride andwear it often, and if you have any questions ere all here.
Later
Dave
