    UT Kilt question

I am going to be buying a UT Wild kilt. I own a Sport Kilt and a Stillwater standard. I was just wondering from the rabble - the weight of the UT is it closer to the Sport Kilt or the Stillwater. I know it is 100% cotton just wondering if it will fly in a breeze.

    Thanks,
    Scott

The UT Wild is a very good utility kilt for the money. I have two but can't compare to Sport Kilt or Stillwater Standard. Not sure of the fabric weight but I have no trouble on windy days. Brice is great to work with.

The UT Kilt is heavier than either the SportKilt (I have three) or the Stillwater, of which I have one. I like both but only use the SportKilt for casual stuff around the house. I use the Stillwater, in saffron, for more dressy occasions when I want to wear an Irish traditional color.

The UT Kilt, however, is more of a favorite that I wear quite often and I have not yet had any wind "problems." I also wear an Amerikilt more than any other - from mowing the lawn to going out to dinner. It is likely my favorite go-to kilt. I also have a USAKilts Casual that has survived a photo session on a windy beach without anyone being embarrassed.

With all that said, I am sure you will like your new purchase. I am waiting for Bryce to replenish his stock because he is out of my size in the "white" one I am going to order next. At the Irish Festival in Baltimore in November I'll be buying another Amerikilt. And it goes on and on and on...
