Clan Chattan, Wilson's colors
Just finished a kilt in a custom weave of Clan Chattan in Wilsons colors.

If you're not familiar with Wilsons of Bannockburn, you should read Matt Newsome's very imformative post at http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...-colors-80919/ Wilsons was the first commercial producer of tartan to standardize a color palette (this was in the late 1700s). Peter MacDonald is responsible for reconstructing what that palette of colors looked like so that people can have tartan woven in these historic colors.
