Australian Tartan
Graham,
I'm addressing this to you as you are from Australia, but it is for everyone. I was looking at this tartan on the internet, and although I found it interesting I couldn't find a picture that would give me a good look.
Do you know the tartan and what do you think? Do you have any good pictures?

Australian Tartan
Casey,
See the photos on these web sites:

With the Australian army uniform, it is a very striking tartan! I personally like the photo of the band in the Digger slouch hats and the kilts.
See this web site for a graphic:

Cheers!

That is one very smart and 'do-able' tartan! I'll certainly be investigating the availability of it when I next go for a tartan kilt.

Sorry Casey, I was asleep for a few hours
I have seen both the Australian and Tasmanian tartans, they are quite nice but not tartans I have had a desire to wear.
I posted about the Tasmanian tartan a while back.

I guess behind it all too is the feeling that my historical roots are celtic rather than Australian. My kiltwearing is an expression of those historical roots.
If I was born here, I would surely find an Australian tartan to wear.
