Kilts On For Dance
From the Friday Sun, published in Blenheim, Marlborough, New Zealand October 23, 2015, the following article and picture. Sorry no accreditation as I have only the first part of it from the front page.
"Havelock local and Scotsman Jim Baillie is donning his kilt to host his second annual Scottish Country Dance (Ceilidh) on November 7.
"Last year's dance was a sell out success, something Jim hopes will happen again this year as he is planning to donate all profits to Havelock's Boardwalk project.
"'Last year was incredible, all 100 tickets sold and we were turning people away at the door.
"'People enjoyed the Scottish traditions and relaxed style of how it was run. Many people said it reminded them of the good old days in Havelock where dances were regularly held'" [said Jim].
It is good to see the kilt appear at other than Highland Games and piping competitions. Jim wears a Scotland T-shirt.

Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?—1 Corinthians 1:20
