Brrrrr-tastic
Over the last few years I have worn a kilt every day. Here is a photo of me walking to university when it was -46 and with a -40 windchill on top. The kilt is a 16oz box pleated Dewar tartan. Under the jacket I wore a black cashmere Jumper, a shirt, and a t-shirt. The hose are some of Rocky's hand-knit hose and under them were a pair of merino wool ski-socks. My walk is about 4 miles and I was perfectly toasty. Though I confess to adapting my shemagh on the way to cover my ears!
"The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it" (Terry Pratchett).
