    smiling like a cheshire cat

    Just thought I'd post my first attempt at making a wool kilt. I practiced on cotton first but wool is easier to handle. The projects going better than I expected...

    Photo of pleats so far. Hand stitched but not basted or pressed.

    I've got a copy of the book on the way, I'm not sure when I will get around to my first kilt, but I am really impressed by your work it looks great!

    Thank you very much... I made some mistakes but that was my fault because I deviated from the book. You'll be blown away by the detail when you receive it.
