the Atlanta kilts company, reviews and help.

Hello everyone! I got some money in from selling knives and figured i would buy myself another kilt, this time in my family tartan (Macneil) well i could only find one company that does my tartan for less than $100 which is my sad budget but has anyone bought anything from this company before and can tell me what they experience with them please??
    Thanks and cheers!!
I drink coffee and pretend to know what I am doing.

Check out USA Kilts, which is a respected advertiser here. You can also do a search of this forum to see their many reviews and accolades. They have a MacNeil tartan listed and their "casual" kilt is in the hundred dollar range. They may be a bit more than that $75 Atlanta Kilt but the PolyViscose fabric is MUCH nicer than the acrylic from which those cheap kilts are constructed.

Just my two-cents (I own three USA Kilts, two casuals and a 5-yard wool). YMMV.

I bought a kilt from Atlanta Kilts last year. Here is my review. I don't plan on buying from them again, and would recommend the USA kilts Casual as a far superior product over the Atlanta Kilts acrylic.

I can't help but notice that Atlanta Kilts, the only kilt retailer in the Atlanta region, does not participate in the Stone Mountain Highland Games. I suspect that it's because they know that what they are offering, when compared directly with other retailers, does not compare well.

I got my first utility (US Army tartan) PV kilt from them. It is a true "knock around" that I am wearing out quickly. They described their store as, "a small Mom & Pop shop with affordable kilts." I now suggest a different place to purchase a better quality kilt.

If you take your time and shop as many sites as possible, you will find a better value.

    MacNeil kilt

There is a nice MacNeil 6 yard wool kilt, ex-hire, from Scotland now on eBay. This on is 32". They had another, slightly larger, which I bought and I love it. It's about $100 US.
