    File type not allowed

    Highlandtide I figured you read this most often.I have finnaly gotten some pics on but on a couple I have gotten ( file type not allowed). I have shrunk the Pics which allowed me to get the others on But am unsure as what I am doing wrong now. Any help or advice will be appreciated.


    Thanks from those of us who are tech. challanged.

    You will have to save your picture in a format the forum accepts.
    Try saving your picture as a Jpeg.There is probably a "Save as" option when you have finished working on your pic. Choose jpeg there .Save it as that and try again.

    Yup. jpg and gif are the only file types allowed.

    thanks for the prompt response I will be on that later today. So far I have four pics on. so anyone wanting a look at the sporran design from "So your going to wear the kilt" have a look.Note the pics don't do it justice, she holds quite a bit and is roomy and for me I like the older designs. AS you can see it's gotten some wear .

    David In the book the turks head is used to lock the lid of the sporran .Do you just let it flop and just tie the draw thongs underneth......

    I tie the thongs underneath right now but am thinking about a string coser like they use on some newer coats, it's two pieces one fits whithin the other and has a spring and there is a hole drilled through both,the string passes through the hole and when you sqeeze it the hole align allowing free movement. I am going to make one from brass and do some fancy file work for decoration.I would also like to do some tooling on the flap.

    Thanks everyone. Graham whats a boatrace? Yeah I'm catching up on technology but that new thing you guys call a car is plain crazy, we all know that will never replace my horse . Hope my pic doesn't scare too many.Good for peeling paint though .
