I become aware of this event in NY as one of the designers is Alberta born. Another of them was highlighted in a recent thread on Outlander putting tartan back into the fashion world.

Considering the breadth of design options seen in the other garments, I find it interesting how little difference there appears to be among the kilts, outside of the occasional blown-up tartan sett. Simplicity is perfection in design.
