Very nice! I was looking at this when Mary Helen walked by; I said "New kilt, his wife made the hose. And the bonnet.". Her reply:
"Wow! One thing's for sure, you won't be getting anything like that from me. If I COULD do that, we'd be dead and gone before I
could find the time.". Sad, but true.

What? We all have the same 24 hours each day. Perhaps you, sir, could knit your own hose, as many men here have done.

At least theoretically true. I learned to mend and resew buttons when my older sister was in Brownie Scouts, as Mama was a leader.
Watching the two of them make clothes for school and gowns for Eastern Star, I realized it's just a jigsaw puzzle, with which I was
good. Made costumes for theater, and poet shirts with gathered sleeves and cuffs for me when they were popular. Unfortunately, too
many years of climbing doing rigging and lighting have left my hands pretty beat up, and too many head injuries has affected fine motor
skills and hand/eye alignment. Mine would never have been as nice as yours, but would have been serviceable. No more. I will enjoy
    seeing yours on him, though.
