    Wool Tartan: Purple/Blue

    Rocky

I'm really curious to know what Tartan you might have in stock in Purple/Blue. I sorted through your listed wools under the Universal Tartans and found four that might work depending upon how true the actual Tartan compares with the sample image.

    Great Scot, MM 16oz
    Highland Mist, MM 16oz
    Scotland Forever, LOCH 16oz
    Spirit of Scotland, MM 13oz

    Thanks

We don't keep wool cloth in stock, but you are able to order swatches through the website if you'd like. :-)

Wow. I must admit that this blows me away just a tad. I understand the cost value of inventory control, but that you can rush an order for say a wool kilt, "out the door in three weeks," without the stock on hand; that is impressive indeed.

    Cheers

When you have systems in place, weekly consolidations from each mill and a good team of kiltmakers in place, we can make tight deadlines.

Due to the # of tartans available and # of mills, weights, etc, it is basically impossible to hold inventory of wool cloth (outside of perhaps a few proprietary tartans, universal tartans, etc). Most kilt makers just order the cloth as needed for a kilt since the mills tend to keep pretty good stock levels.
