In A Clothing Store
I went into a clothing store with my kilt in hand, not on to look for a belt to wear with the kilt.
As I was presented it for payment at the Men's wear counter there was a young couple looking at suits for the Groom to be and had one picked out for him.
I could not but help opening the folded Kilt and suggest "he would look good in one of these" She took a spin and looked and said wow we should do that for the wedding instead! ... the salesman cringed and uttered something like hey your going to blow my sale! ( Sorry chap start selling kilts )
Well I don't know that they changed there wedding plans but I just bet she buys him a kilt!

I love going into menswear stores, I usually get in first and say "no, I've not come to buy trousers...." with a laugh!
These days I look at the racks of trousers and jeans and feel pity for those who will buy them!

It is strange to go into a men's store and just look at clothing for the waist up.
In some of the finer stores here they are aware of kilts. Actually, one of these stores in Ottawa is the tailor to the military and you can order kilts and accessories thought them, alothough they do not stock these items.

That's a classic (graham rolls on the floor laffing)!!
It must be listed as one of this years' quotable quotes!
