More sporran
I'd like to make a leather cantle type hunting sporran. Does anyone know how the cantle is made and how it closes? I can't find anything on making this kind of sporran and I don't have a cantle type I can look over to find out.

the ones I have seen remind me of those old cigarette case's lady's used to carry the hinge on the sides and closure at top.

well I am by no means an expert but that is what they remind me of. Maybe I'm wrong (I don't own one)

Bubba on my sealskin dress sporran the sporran is shaped at the top to take the cantle this then fastens to the back with a press stud. I'll post a pic in my gallery for you
