Made the local paper in a kilt

    http://www.liherald.com/oceanside/st...ce-begin,96246

Did a decent job of paraphrasing me throughout, though he got my name wrong, its Russ. I moved to the area to take a position at the Presbyterian church here a month before the article and he makes a point of introducing the new religious leaders.
I'd gone for a real nice bike ride, got back to the office, threw the clothes on and got a message that he was coming to interview me in a few minutes so one bad case of helmet hair.

Even with the "deadlines" the interviewer had, I believe he got the best parts of the moment. A kilted man (helmet head a photo plus) in a fine church setting, one couldn't ask for better.

    Looking good!

I also love your line, "the worship is over. Let the service begin." Can I borrow that?

Sure, I happily swiped it from someone else, it just seemed so appropriate and they didn't know where it came from either.

The reporter was intrigued by the idea of tartan having meaning and wanted to research it more, hopefully I put a bug in his ear.
