DIY Culture
So glad I grew up DIY in the old Punk/Metal scene.
I tried sourcing some inexpensive kilts - duties are one and a half times the price of the kilts (was going to deconstruct and reconstruct to get the idea down). Adapt, improvise and overcome..... Now trying to source some tartan material down here, too bad I live in a small town with limited potential. I really do not want to go modern kilt - maybe I am a caveman, but what has worked for the last three or four hundred years has to still work (I am partial to tartans).
So now, sourcing a tartan.... Gonna hit Cordoba next month, trying to get the rental together to give back to the place.
Wish me luck
