    Caladonia Scotia of South Queensferry

    Hi All.
Been having a thought about having one of my kilts altered, as I've shed a bit of weight from 38ins to 34in waist. I was thinking about having it done by Caledonia Scotia just wondered had anybody any knowledge of them, maybe some of the guys up in Scotland have had some dealings with them, plus its an excuse to go up for a wee trip always love going up to Scotland, or if they know were to go to get it done. Many thanks
    Dirk95.
    Derek.

I don't have any experience with that particular business, but you may want to take a look at this little clip from USA Kilts, discussing the varying degrees of difficulty, of kilt alteration. Happy kilting, and congratulations on the lost weight!

    Caledonia Scotia of Sth Queensferry

    Hi Jumpmonkey.
I've had a look at the USA Kilts video, I think its just a move of the buckles and the strap on the under apron but we'll see what they say. Might be a new a kilt in the pipeline, but thanks for the heads up.

    Hi Derek

Have a look at this: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...-larger-78931/

You can always buy a new kilt and alter the old one yourself.

    Good luck
