Saffron Kilt for Sale
Here's an inexpensive way to start your kilt collection. I have a Solid Saffron colored kilt for sale.
Size 40, with a 24 inch drop, made from acrylic cloth. It comes from Tartanista. Never worn, tag is still on the kilt.
Kilt has 2 belt loops and 3 leather buckles.
Also with the kilt is a size large, brown 3" wide embossed leather belt (no buckle). Without a buckle the belt at it's largest measures approx 40.5" long.
I am asking $30 for the belt and kilt together plus postage.
Message me if interested.
Sorry Rabble, I cannot get the photos to load. Message me and I will email or text photos to you if you are interested.

Hmmm...
You realise saffron kilts are Irish, right? Not sure why you post a list of your Scottish clans. Maybe that is why the saffron kilt is for sale?
FWIW, there are some Irish clans too, O'Callaghan is one of them. And yes, there is a Callaghan tartan, but a kilt in that tartan costs a lot more than a saffron one, which is why, amongst other things, I own the latter and not the former.
Authentic Irish kilts are either solid green or solid saffron. I own two green ones and saffron one, as well as a black one (?). I am wearing one of the solid green ones as I write this.
Then there are 7 or 8 general 'Irish' tartans of no particular authenticity. I own a couple of those as well. Then there are the tartans of the four kingdoms, and although I own none of those, Munster would be the appropriate one for me. Next come two entirely dissimilar sets of Irish county tartans, figments of the imaginations of two particular mills, and I confess I have the green Cork tartan.
The aforesaid Irish clan tartans are a bit pricey, on the whole more than their Scottish counterparts, although I aspire to one day own a Callaghan kilt, which is ironically woven only in Scotland. There are even a couple of London Irish tartans that have been designed to honour my native city, although AFAIK the only one actually available is the navy blue one, and available only from the same source and at the same price as Callaghan, i.e. from Dalgleish.

Hey bud,
Read the thread. I'm not Irish. I fixed the seller's photos so that they would appear in the thread FOR HIM in my reply. You are reading my prestigious family credentials, not his.
There is an Irish joke or two hidden in this somewhere, but I'll refrain from telling them here.
BTW,
"Authentic Irish Kilt" is a misnomer in of itself, given the fact that Irish adoption of Scottish highland dress and tartans is a recent, nineteenth century occurrence.

The Saffron kilt does resemble the leine or garment reputedly worn in the days of old in Ireland. The colour from the available dyes at the time. There are many old threads on this topic here.

Anyone who thinks the 19th century is 'recent' must be very, very old, LOL!

A hundred and fifty years vs. six centuries is indeed recent history.
