Aside from OC Richard, whom amongst the 'Great Rabble' will be attending? As we've pre-ordered tickets, we are commited (Please, no comments, SWMBO says I should be).

I'll be there with the Cameron Highlanders grade 4 band.
Dunno how much time I'll have away from band stuff.
Here's to hoping for double digit temperatures!

Double digit temps would be great. I was looking at the various weather apps. After last year, its hard to believe that 88 is Pleasanton's average high temp for Labor Day weekend.

My wife and I are always there. We help at the Douglas tent, my granddaughter dances (though not this year due to family trip), and this year I will be helping out in the SAMS (Scottish American Military Society) color guard at Saturday's opening ceremonies.

Yes I'll be there with the Long Beach Pipe Band. We dropped down to Grade 4. It's a bummer when you lose good players to other bands, but it's the way pipe bands are.
Will there be an XMarkers gathering? At least for a photo shoot?
It's tough being stuck with the pipe band stuff but happily at Pleasanton we have no Opening Ceremonies to do so we're free in the morning.
We are very much looking forward to temps in the low 80s!!
BTW myself and much of the pipe band community will be hanging out at the Host Hotel on Friday. They have, in one of the ballrooms, the Professional Piping contest (Piobaireachd and MSR) and out in the parking lot bands from all over (oftentimes Scotland and Canada as well as all over the USA) will be rehearsing. It's really the best time for listening to great piping, on Friday.
