Black brogues, size 11US, leather sole, worn twice. $40 CAD
Hello folks,
For sale I have a pair of black Samuel Windsor wingtip brogues with leather uppers and soles. They are British size 10 1/2 which is supposed to be US size 11. I wear US10 and got them used, thinking I wouldn’t mind that they were a half size too large— I forgot they were in British sizing. Combined with the long, elegant toe profile they were too big to be comfortable.
These are very sharp shoes, and with a little bit of polish they come out quite nicely. A Canadian Forces member asked if they were patent leather, but I had only put on about three coats of polish— they are simply a very smooth and easily polished leather.
I’ve worn them twice, once to a burns supper and once at curling gig, where they were incidentally the perfect amount of grip contrary to what you would think with the leather soles.
These retail £40 new, so at $40 CAD plus shipping I’m not making any money, just trying to pass on some well made shoes to someone who can use them. I’m also willing to negotiate perhaps a trade of some kind with perhaps a sporran or waistcoat.
PM for photos, when I try to upload them it keeps saying ‘upload failed’.
Thanks for looking!!

When it won’t upload, try compressing the picture. That’s often the problem.
