    Monarch 3 & 4

    I finally figured out how to get to someone at BBC America about Monarch Season 3 and 4. The response is good and bad.

    Good=it is in the works.
    Bad=Not soon enough

    Richard, is this video or DVD?

    So far I've only seen series one on DVD.

    Sorry Graham....work has been busy and I didn't give the background on this.

    The Series 3 & 4 DVD's are available for England and those that use that encoding. The DVD's for the US are only available in the Season 1&2. My request was on the DVD's Series 3&4 for the US players and this was the basis of the e-mail.

    Sorry for any confusion....Richard-

    Monarch...

    Maybe if we all sent them e-mails asking for Seasons 3 & 4 on DVD, they would respond quicker...supply and demand, guns and butter and all that rot! :mrgreen:

    Cheers,

    T.

    I won't spoil the fun, but a LOT happens in 3 and 4... as does 5 and 6 (so far).

    No matter what, I'm adding-on every season available since it's what I watch when regular TV s_cks.

    Your right Jimmy. I was fortunate enough to get 3&4 taped. The local PBS which was running Monarch at the first of this year was sold only into showing season 2 but they had puchased seasons 1-4. They started a Monarch Marathon where they showed 2 episodes each night till all the episodes had been aired. While it's on tape I am a greedy little cuss and want it on DVD. So this does excite me. And YES, go to the BBC America site under CONTACT US (very bottom of the page) and let's start a write in campaign to speed things up!

    Richard-
