    Bonnets

Does anyone know where I could find instructions for making a traditional highland bonnet or a Balmoral? A website would be best.

Wish I could help you bubba, but I just purchased mine. If I find a website, I will send it your way. Was there not a sewing pattern where one of the guys had a balmoral on?

Colin, I saw that pattern. The bonnet was more Italian Ren period. A purely costume thing of if it looks close good enough.

Thanks. I saved that til I find someone that knits. What I'm thinking of is a pattern I can cut out of fabric, probably wool.
