    HM Queen Elizabeth

To all the members of Xmarks throughout the Commonwealth, my condolences upon the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth. Although my maternal grandparents left Norwich over a century ago, we still felt the impact of royalty. My mother was a slight woman whom I always thought of whenever I saw her Majesty. My mother also collected royal tea cups and saucers so reminders of the royal family were always seen in our home.

My ancestors left Scotland many generations ago, but HM was an example to all of us as a selfless, dedicated servant not only to Great Britain, but to the whole world. I've put the Scottish royal banner flag up in front of my house in respect for her lifetime of service.

Thank you for the correction. As I’m two generations removed from England, I don’t know the subtleties of royal address. I’ll try to correct my post.

Edit. I can edit the post (and have done so). I’m unable to correct the title.

Edit #2 - Thank you for the corrections, Father Bill.

May the Good Lord bless you and keep you and may He make His light to shine upon you. You can rest now, my Queen.

May God bless HM Queen Elizabeth II. America has lost not just an ally but a friend. The one good thing if you could call it a "good thing" is that the UK loved their Queen, but Scotland adored her. She always looked happiest when at Balmoral.
