    OC Called it

OC Richard was wondering if any new tartans would be created surrounding her late majesty Queen Elizabeth II or a coronation tartan for her son King Charles III. Here's one for the platinum jubilee: https://www.tartanregister.gov.uk/ta...ails?ref=13644

    Well, I like it.

Not enough to have a kilt made up, but I do like it.

Yes however I'm still waiting for the King Charles III and Coronation 2022 and Queen Elizabeth II Memorial tartans to hit the shelves.

It's hard to judge tartans from those garish CGI representations. Tartans look much better in the cloth.

Just from the CGI that tartan doesn't do much for me. What sticks out as looking ungainly are the three equal grey stripes on the green ground. However much depends on the specific colours of the grey and the green. How those two colours interact will determine the attractiveness of the overall design, I think.
