bagpipe instructor near philadelphia
Over the years I've tried a few times to find an instructor to teach me to play the pipes. It sure would make the answer to one of the FAQ's more fun (i.e. "Do you play the bagpipes?") and would give me something useful to do when the neighbor's kids are playing their stereo too loudly.
I found someone in Philly about a year or so ago on some web site indexing bagpipe instructors but the contact info was outdated so no contact was made.

I am taking pipelessons now. The guy I am learning from is also with the pipeband. My goal is to play the Scottish small pipes. Other than the size of bag and how much air to fill it up, mouth blown Scottish small pipes play just like Highland bagpipes. If I had the time, I would be with the band and get free lessons, not that lessons are expensize. A couple of cases of home brew beer will get me several lessons.
