Three Weddings and a Funeral

I saw a weddign scene in this movie today with kilts galore. I think that one of the main characters was getting married. They did the service in Scotland. The scene opened with a kilted procession moving twoard the church and pipers playing. All in all they represented the kilt well.

That'd probably be "Four Weddings and a Funeral"... But, yes, I also saw it and liked it... Had a bit too much in the way of foul language, but...

Yes, Four Weddings and a Funeral...

Teaching modern British Literature at college, I have chosen this screen play to represent the drama genre - and my students love it!

Yes a wedding short!

I always want to cry at the funeral scene when WH Auden's poem is spoken by John Hannah.

And the "funeral" character, played by Simon Callow, dies at the Scottish wedding in full highland attire. Some great kilted scenes.

I was invited to appear as an extra for the Scottish Country Dance scenes at the Scottish wedding in this film, but was unable to be there on the dates required. Several of my friends from the London Branch of the RSCDS made it however.
