    Barleyjuice at Green Lane

I started a thread in the Celtic festival section on the Green Lane Park Scottish and Irish Festival held last weekend. I just thought I would also start a thread with pictures and a video of Barleyjuice and our own Jimmy Carbomb. The video was shot with my still camera so it's not too good but the sound isn't terrible and it's still better than most of what's on YouTube anyway. I didn't catch the name of this song but they did say its going to be on a forthcoming CD. It's a little slow for my tastes, but most of their material is much more "rollicking"

    And finally, the video:

Barleyjuice is awesome. I look forward to seeing them every summer at celebration of Celts here in the Hudson valley. Thanks for the pics and video.

The tune is "The Hard Life of Ivan MacRae". Kyf wrote that one for the many Scots that attend our shows these days. It's a little slow for my liking too... but then we can't go nuts on everything or we may lose the habitually comotose listeners out there!

Glad you made it out to our only Philadelphia-area appearance over the last few years. It's always nice to sleep at home every so often. Hopefully, you were able to attend the night set which was MUCH more upbeat and raucus. I can truly say that I have never seen "slam dancing" and a "mosh pit" at a Celtic Festival before.

Thanks for the pics, video, and for coming out!!!!!!!

For those planning trips for early 2008, we're already booked for Hawaii and Scotland. Dates and locations will be on the site.
