    Traditional Scottish Breakfast?

I want to hold a breakfast for some friends. I could go with the American standards: Pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, toast etc. But I thought I might throw in a Scottish flavor.

What would a "Traditional" Scottish breakfast consist of?

Not trying to cause discord here, but just how does Canadian bacon figure in a Scottish breakfast???

Or is this one of those things like French fries not being French?? Is Canadian bacon really Scottish?

Reminds me of when I was a kid and spent a week in Victoria B.C. (Canada) with a family transplanted from the U.K.
Every morning I had similar for breakfast, well, minus the haggis & beans
    Fond memories...

Man, you guys are making me hungry! The salmon and scrambled idea sounds good too, but prefer mountain trout and over-easy eggs with diced fried potatoes, maybe some tomato, and a small hunk of cheese and toast .
