That is cool! It's actually kinda tough to find around here. I might just be unlucky though.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

I happen to like Pike's Kiltlifter. I have some bottles in the fridge; although, I didn't get mine from Costco.

Wow, I expected to see a different topic altogether when I saw the thread header, I guess Kiltlifter has a very different meaning over your side of the Atlantic.

When I saw your first post, I didn't understand what you were getting at. So, I just sort of read on and wondered about this new (to me) beer that might look to try. Then,

WOW. Talk about cultural misunderstanding! I have definitely learned something today. Although, I do intend to give this beer a taste when/if ever I run across it. int:

I've been repeating the Kiltlifter issue during Burns Day hilarity here at work. It turns out we have a Campbell and a MacDonald (unsuspected maiden name) seated across from each other (!) but they both joined in laughter at the story- the British sense of the term was completely unsuspected.
The Campbell has however now adjusted his chair slightly....

...and kiltlifting is what you do after you drink it? ...But maybe I should know what the British sense of the term is before making that joke.
