McFarkus and I had the pleasure of Jordan's company for lunch and some pub time here in Chicago proper yesterday. In spite of the city being clogged up by the NFL Draft festivities, we managed to find an uncrowded lunch spot and got to ramble around Downtown a bit. Mark headed home and J and I went to the only place I could think of where the whisky selection could accommodate his educated palate, The Duke. Not being big on the whisky myself, Jordan explained that the MacAllan 10 has disappeared back in Scotland and that he was pleased to find a bottle left on The Duke's shelf. Good to meet you, J, and it looks like you're getting out of the central city in the nick of time…that NFL thing is takin' over and half the streets downtown are blocked off! Have fun with the Rabble out in the 'burbs this weekend and c'mon back when you get the chance!

PS: Can you smuggle some of that MacA 10 back in your luggage…maybe one of these local liquor superstores like Binny's has some left...

I'm excited for tonight, trying to decide on a shirt, so far it feels like t-shirt weather and I have a perfect one in mind should I go that route.
