Chicago Meet up
Evening all, As I posted in my other thread I'm going to be in the Chicago area from the 27th April until the 4th May.
I've been in sporadic contact with @Mikilt and have decided on a meet up in St Charles on the evening of Sunday the 3rd of May. Who all fancies it?
I dont know where it will be, I know there is a big tent with a bar and food at the Pheasant Run Resort where I will be staying for the pipe show but I don't know anywhere else so suggestions are very welcome.
Other than that my current itinerary is:
Arrive Monday Afternoon 27th.
Sightseeing/ exploring Tuesday + wednesday. I've been trying to arrange a visit to a local lodge while I'm in town but it isn't going well so any contacts would be appreciated.
Thursday travel to St Charles.
Thursday- sunday afternoon Chicagoland International Pipe & Tobacciana Show.
Meet up sunday night?
Monday fly home.
I believe @Mikilt has been in touch with a few of the locals for Sunday but if anyone else is in the area and wants to come say hi or even just has anymore recommendations for things to do/see then feel free to add them.
Jordan
EDIT: To add, I've been in contact with the organiser of the Pipe show and we can meet in the smoking tent with no problems if that is whats decided.

There are a couple of options in St. Charles, but it's probably easiest if we meet at Pheasant Run.

I don't mind, I'm willing to travel a bit. Just depends if everyone 's happy meeting in a hotel full of pipe smokers.

There's a place I've been before in St Charles called McNally's. They'd also love to have us.
