Cool. East Coast swing (ECS) and West Coast swing (WCS) are two very different styles of swing. Although WCS was derived from Lindy Hop without the hopping and the wildnessBoth do the 6-count basic.
Start by learning and mastering the 8-count whip moves. Those moves make you lead your follower FORWARD instead of rock-back stepping (which is biggest basic difference between the two styles).

Funny how I easily forgot the new moves I've been practicing and reverted to the moves I know by heart.
This is the "Newcomer" division which means we're relative newbies and have not been doing this long. So please don't expect super moves. That'll be years from now...
