Well, all of the talk about food got me to thinking. And while I didn't get close to the 'overfull feeling' stage, this morning's breakfast was quite filling.

Everything was purchased locally, and with the exception of the tea, black & white puddings and tomato, produced within 200 miles. (The tomato had a BC hot house label, so it was still somewhat local ). A local meat market sells a good bacon that they cure themselves and they make their own sausages.

With a little bit of work, and taking time to make some blueberry scones using frozen berries from the bushes alongside my house, I had a wonderful, full breakfast, including the black pudding.
