    eating my words for stillwater!!??

Well...Although I've been hard on them in the past. I went ahead and ordered a MacKenzie from stillwater for my 4 yr old son.. What can I say.. He's out grown his last one and he'll no doubt out grow this one pretty fast aswell. He's a boy and therefore pretty rough on cloths LOL. So for the price of 16.95 he can beat the hell out of it and out grow all he wants. Bonus it's my old regiments tartan! So perhaps by the end of the summer I'll be eating my words regarding stillwater kilts..... Or perhaps not....

I have one of those for my 5 year old son. Would not think of buying anything else. Can you really justify a custom kilt for a boy that seems to grow daily??

SWK makes a good product for the money.... A wool kilt for $120.00 that you can beat up... as long as off the peg sizing works for you...

It is what it is.... Expecting a Kilt to meet the standards of a 16oz handsewn... you will find fault... but a kilt you can wear hiking, yardwork, pubbing, ect... it's made for that... good customer service... it fits the niche for it's targeted market...

I've always felt my SWK's were well worth the money, and the service is superb.

And again! The wool ones are a great dollar to value ratio. The acrylic... not so much. But then again, I'm biased because I have cats, and the acrylic is a loose weave, and my cat's claws really snag in the material. I think that were it not for that little fact, the acrylic ones would be fine.

I have several SWK acrylics. Good for bashing about as long as campfires aren't involved.

I'd MUCH rather spend a few more dollars and get PV, but I didn't know any better when I got mine. Live and learn.

I have a Heavyweight and it's great. No, the length wasn't good for me so I hemmed it up and all's right with the world. At this time, this is my favorite kilt for Colorado winters and the workmanship looks great to me.
