Asheville's own Uncle Hamish and the Hooligans will be releasing their 5th CD, entitled "Operators are Standing By" at the Highland Brewery on the evening of Januray 6th, 2011. 6-8 PM. The new CD is all original material, some of which was written by my son (MadBagPiper). It also happens that this is the day of his 21st birthday, so it certainly could be an interesting evening. (I'll be taking his keys for sure ) I hope some of the other local XMarkers can come by for this event. The following day I could easily be persuaded to lead an afternoon hike for those so inclined.
