The Elder Sign that Mark rendered on this buckle for me is actually directly from H.P.'s hand. In a letter to one of his friends, he drew this sign, which was actually described in The Shadow Over Innsmouth.
Man, I tell you what- Everyone should have one of Mark's buckles- at least one! Having twice as many TF buckles feels three times as good, if you can imagine that!
Oh man! That is high praise, indeed.
Yes, having more than one of most anything is a luxury, I know. I am fortunate to have a little better access than most, and more latitude expense wise than any.
But the nice thing is one can go slowly and pick one here, one there. I know a couple of guys that have 2.
I only pray that I live up to each and every one's expectations.
