Re: Cthulhu accessory: Elder Sign buckle from Tyger Forge...

That buckle is fantastic.
Ryan, this is quite the outfit you're assembling here.
Fingers crossed that it won't get too chewed up when you're eaten (hopefully first).

Well the buckle, at least, should make it through... so after I'm eaten, if any of you folks are brave enough to sift through Cthulhu's leavings, you're welcome to it.

I was expecting the later attributed star and was delighted to see Lovecraft's image!
Well done to the maker

Well, seeing as the erroneous sign wouldn't be likely to do anything but get caught in a Deep One's teeth, I thought it prudent to go with the real deal.
All kidding aside, this one is by Lovecraft's own hand, and besides that, I think it looks very cool, and to those not in the know, rather nondescript and low-key.

Are you old enough to be an elder, Bro. Ross?

When given a choice, most people will choose.

I had license plate holders made for my Honda CR-V that say ALUMNI, MISKATONIC UNIVERSITY. I get the biggest kick when someone asks me "Miskatonic University? That's back East isn't it?" All I can do is smile an say "Yes indeed Sir...yes indeed...."
Cheers

I compliment you on your photographic skills. They are self-evident in this post and in the many other posts that you have been making.
I woke up at 2am one night, plagued near to insanity as to how I was going to make your buckle, and the pure genius celestial wave came into my head and, right then and there, I knew how to make the "starry sky".
I got up, made some coffee, and the world changed before my eyes.

Thank you, Mark, for your incredible craftsmanship! Any photographic success I have, I'm forced to atribute to the equipment at my disposal... my dad has this fancy flash that makes all the difference.
And that's an awesome story, pertaining to the starry sky background- it is PERFECT for this buckle.
I've already gotten some comps from extraScottish friends, also, so it seems this piece is a winner, regardless of what circle you're in at the time.

As far as I know, it's designed to work both ways.
