In the WSJ Off Duty section this weekend, 25/26 August, was a long feature article "The Scottish Are Coming". Apparently for the first time in my life I'm ahead of the curve on high fashion. All things Scottish are finding there way into a number of designer lines this year and Saks Fifth Ave. have devoted a portion of a floor to the new trends. Some includes kilts, other new Harris tweeds from new mills in Scotland which have revived the trade and others just look silly to me; but they are all pricy.
