“Thing” unearther during excavations of Dingwall’s Cromartie Memorial car park
Thought you might find this story interesting....
While a dig in Leicester successfully unearthed the remains of King Richard III, a similar excavation in Dingwall town centre has uncovered the location of a medieval Viking Parliament, apparently much like today’s devolved Scottish assembly with law-making authority.
