Well, that's a very parliamentarian thing to say, John. Nothing has been learned much over the centuries and most legislators, even at this late date, are either stuffed or being told to go and get.
Actually, the Mound never was lost and neither was its purpose. The whole town is named for it. The news item really is just local news about a dig in the middle; sort of a pick-up on the discovery of Richard Three's remains, also under a parking lot.
