Fly/Day/Shoulder Plaid
I have a few questions concerning Fly/Day/Shoulder Plaids. First of all, what is the difference? Is there actually a difference or is it simply a difference in names?
Second, I have an extra yard of fabric I'm using to make a kilt; is a little over a yard enough to make a shoulder plaid (the type that drapes over the shoulder, not a dress fly plaid that attaches with a brooch at the shoulder)? And does anyone know of any plans on the internet to make one?
Third, how does a plaid stay on your shoulder? Obviously a fly plaid is kept in place with the brooch, but how does one draped over your shoulder stay there?
Thanks all
